Does this pet really exist as a hybrid, or did someone just assume you can make Firebat with Firecat and Bloodbat? Katherine Deathpants 07:45, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

My understanding is that this is real, but that it doesn't have the card of the dropped Firebat pet. Apparantly there are a number of hybrids that can be made this way, people just haven't spent as much time on them as on the higher pedigree pets. I hope to actually try some hatchings like this myself at some point, after I Epic the pets I plan on using. :) ErinEmeraldflame 15:50, September 13, 2010 (UTC)

Today I hatched a Firebat from Firecat and Bloodbat! It is identical to the Firebat (Pet). It has the card at ancient, the hatch time was 12 hours, the egg was Evanescent egg. Admittedly I did it on the test realm because the free crowns really sped things up, but I can do it again on the Live realm if you so dare! Katherine Deathpants 16:00, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

What a minute - going by memory sorry no proof - from the wizard101.com message boards - I thought the only pets capable of having hybrid offspring were level 48 and gift card pets. If a dropped pet can also do it, wow, that opens it up. Imagine the possibilities. I'm already imagining with my favorite pet, the Death Bat. AngusFiredust 16:58, October 18, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, the message boards are wrong... much of the time lol. :) Lots of people have only cared about hatching the higher level pets, but as I mentioned above, there are other cool pets that can be made. Today I tried hatching a Firebat with my Adult Firecat and Adult Bloodbat, but for some reason the result was another Firecat. Can anyone explain what happened?--99.67.192.242 18:04, July 26, 2012 (UTC)
